We have been using autotask for about a year but have never been happy with the ticket emails. Every workflow rule has a different email format and it just does not look professional. When we reply to a ticket via email it duplicates all of the info in the autotask interface. Autotask onboarding and support have been worthless in really giving us advice as to how to configure it to work properly. So we hired an autotask consultant to redesign the ticketing emails. That process has stalled but we have another meeting this week to wrap up the project.
My question is how do you use autotask emails. It's been suspected to work entirely in outlook/mobile for communication and when you want the notes added to the ticket you should CC your support email address to get it into autotask. This seems clunky but maybe. What is your configuration / workflow?
For reference we came from Zendesk and it was dead simple and just worked
